Donald Trump held his first election rally in Waco, Texas on Saturday to launch his Presidential bid.
Trump used his rally as an opportunity to address the investigations against him.
Trump said the investigations were “something straight out of the Stalinist Russia horror show”.
Trump is facing criminal charges for campaign finance violations in relation to hush money paid to adult movie star Stormy Daniels.
Trump said “From the beginning it has been one witch-hunt and phony investigation after another.”
Trump also promised to save The United States from “World War Three” should be elected again.
Trump addressed the crowd and said that our enemies “are desperate to stop us”, and “our opponents have done everything they can to crush our spirit and to break our will”.
“But they failed,” he added.
“They’ve only made us stronger.
“And 2024 is the final battle.
“It’s going to be the big one.
“You put me back in the White House, their reign will be over and America will be a free nation once again.”
Trump’s rally comes 30 years after the bloody standoff between The Federal Government and The Branch Davidians.
A spokesperson for Trump said they chose Waco because it is located near many large cities and has the necessary infrastructure available to hold a large rally.
