Four arrested in London after shouting ‘anti-Semitic’ language from car decorated with Palestinian flags

Four protesters in north London were arrested after shouting anti-Semitic language from a car decorated with Palestinian flags.

A surveillance video caught the incident and an investigation was conducted after the footage was spread on social media. Anti-Semitism is on the rise following an escalation of conflict between Palestine and Israel. The Anti-Defamation League tracks incidents of anti-semitism. “ADL’s Tracker of Anti-Semitic Incidents is a compilation of recent cases of anti-Jewish vandalism, harassment, and assault reported to or detected by ADL.”

While conflict between Palestinian forces and Israel has occurred for decades, there are often flare-ups in the ongoing conflict. For the past week, Hamas, a Palestinian-funded terrorist organization, has launched over 1000 rockets into civilian areas of Israel and Gaza.

Israel recently attacked a Hamas base in the Gaza Strip, allegedly killing 16 terrorist leaders, including the leader of its military operations in Gaza, Bassem Issa. Last week, US President Biden stated, “My expectation and hope are that this will be closing down sooner than later. But Israel has a right to defend itself against thousands of rockets flying into your territory.”
