Rap song that discusses targeting “Chinese neighborhoods” taken down by major streaming services

Rapper YG’s 2014 debut album “My Krazy Life” briefly disappeared from digital streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, the iTunes Store, and YouTube, according to Pitchfork.  The removal came amid backlash against the record’s “Meet the Flockers,” a song that originally had lyrics about targeting “Chinese neighborhoods” during burglary attempts.[Read More…]
