Jon Kerry’s jet has emitted 30X more carbon in 2021 than the average vehicle does in a year, report finds

Climate czar John Kerry’s family jet has reportedly emitted 30 times more carbon in 2021 than the average vehicle in a year, according to Fox News.

Fox News found that Kerry’s family jet emitted an estimated 138 metric tons of carbon between January 10 and August 6 of this year and took off 20 times after reviewing flight data. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reported that the average vehicle emits 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide in one year, in which the Kerry family jet already surpassed 30 times.

A State Department spokesperson for Kerry expressed to Fox News: “Secretary Kerry travels commercially or via military air in his role as Special Presidential Envoy for Climate.” John Kerry has been repeatedly criticized for what many call his “hypocrisy” when it comes to climate change. Steve Milloy, former member of President Trump’s transition team and founder of JunkScience.com, called Kerry a “good poster child for climate hypocrisy.”

“Elitist Kerry has justified his massive carbon footprint by saying that he is an important guy and must jet everywhere to save the planet. On the other hand, cynical Kerry has admitted that even if the world cut emissions to zero, that would not solve the ‘climate problem’ … Sure, Kerry makes a good poster child for climate hypocrisy, but he is not alone. Al Gore, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Leonardo DiCaprio, Barack Obama are some other mega-carbon footprint-making climate alarmists that come to mind. Having learned nothing from Marie Antoinette, these climate hypocrites sabotage their own efforts.”
