Gov. Cuomo releases photos of him hugging politicians amid sexual harassment allegations

Democratic Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo is publishing photos of him hugging politicians in the midst of an investigative report over sexual harassment allegations.

Cuomo wrote an 85 page response to the investigative report in which a picture of former President Obama was seen hugging failed presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton. Another photo showed Cuomo and President Biden holding each other, while looking into each other’s eyes without masks. Other photos in the report showed Cuomo kissing Al Gore, daughter Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo, Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren, his father, and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R).

“The facts are much different than what has been portrayed,” Governor Cuomo said, in response to the findings of the independent investigative report by New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) on Tuesday. “I never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances,” he stated. “That is just not who I am or who I have ever been.”

Attorney James announced her investigation “revealed conduct that corrodes the very fabric and character of our state government and shines light on injustice that can be present at the highest level of government.”

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D), Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), New York Reps. Tom Suozzi (D-NY), Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), and Greg Meeks (D-NY) have all called for Cuomo’s resignation.

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo advised his brother and then testified to New York’s Attorney General on allegations of sexual misconduct before the investigation found the governor sexually harassed multiple women.

The report says Chris Cuomo testified in the investigation in which “Chris Cuomo explained” to investigators “that there was discussion about remedial measures” Andrew Cuomo “should take in light of the sexual harassment allegations, but some people had taken the position that ‘they should just wait.’”

Alex Weprin, of The Hollywood Reporter,  tweeted screenshots of the statement saying, “It appears as though Chris Cuomo helped craft Gov. Cuomo’s Feb. 28 statement responding to the Bennett allegations.”
