FBI searching for Arkansas man after explosives found at home

FBI agents in Little Rock and ATF agents in New Orleans have executed a federal search warrant at Neil Ravi Mehta’s home in Fort Smith, Arkansas. A press release stated investigators located multiple explosive devices inside his house.

The explosives have been deemed safe; however the whereabouts of Mehta remain unknown.

Mehta has been described as 31-years old, 5”11, approximately 160 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.  Agents have informed the public that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

The press release goes on to say that investigators believe that Mehta has links to eastern Oklahoma; Atlanta; Albuquerque; Dallas; Houston; Jackson Hole, Wyoming and New York within the United States.  They also believe he has ties overseas in Pakistan and India.

Investigators have asked anyone who sees Mehta not to approach him but should contact local law enforcement or call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
