Marjorie Taylor Greene accuses Walmart of placing sex toys next to kids’ toothbrushes

On Saturday, Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia accused Walmart of selling sex toys next to children’s toothbrushes.

Greene posted photos on Instagram appearing to show sex toys being sold right next to children’s toothbrushes at a Walmart in Dalton, Georgia.

“Selling sex toys openly where children are exposed to them is wrong, inappropriate, immoral, indecent, perverted, shameful, and incredibly harmful to children,” Greene said in response, according to Newsweek.

“Why is Walmart participating in the grooming and sexualization of children? Is this in all stores or just Dalton?” she asked, adding: “I don’t care how big your corporation, how much money you have, how powerful your lobby is, how big and powerful your political influence is. I just don’t care who you are. I will always firmly stand up for what is right and do everything I can to protect kids.”

Her accusation came a week after she publicly condemned major retailers for selling sex toys.

“By the way, you can pick up a butt plug or a dildo at Target and CVS nowadays. I don’t even know how we got here,” Greene said, according to Newsweek. “This is the state that we’re living in right now.”
