Ivanka Trump details ‘pretty heated’ ball between Donald Trump and Mike Pence

Ivanka Trump, daughter of former President Donald Trump, revealed that her father and former Vice President Mike Pence engaged in a heated conversation which reportedly happened during the early hours of Jan. 6, 2021.

Mike Pence’s former attorney Greg Jacob said he was at the vice president’s residence when he got the call from former President Donald Trump. Jacob testified that he and several other people were there finalizing Pence’s statement which was set to be put out later that day.

House Panel member Rep. Pete Aguilar, a California Democrat, said that members of the Trump family were present in the Oval Office during the call with Pence, adding that they as well as others spoke to the committee about the conversation.

“When I entered the office the second time, he was on the telephone with who I later found out was the vice president,” Ivanka told the committee in prerecorded testimony. “The conversation was pretty heated. It was a different tone than I heard him take with the vice president before.”

She added that it “wasn’t a specific, formal discussion, it was very loose and casual.”

Other segments revealed former Trump assistant Nicholas Luna saying that Trump called Pence a “wimp” and Julie Radford, Ivanka’s former chief of staff, Trump called him “the p-word.”

Luna, a former special assistant to Trump, said he was dropping off a note when he heard something to the effect of Trump saying “I made the wrong decision four or five years ago.” Luna told the committee: “I remember hearing the word ‘wimp,’” adding: “Either he called him a wimp, I don’t remember, he said ‘you are a wimp, you’ll be a wimp’ – wimp is the word I remember.”

Julie Radford, a former chief of staff to Trump said she told Ivanka that “her dad had just had an upsetting conversation with the vice president.” Radford added that the former First Daughter said her father called Pence “the P-word.”
