The Washington Examiner commissioned a forensic assessment of Hunter Biden’s laptop that concluded the laptop is “100 percent authentic,” according to the Examiner.
The Examiner hired cybersecurity expert Konstantinos “Gus” Dimitrelos to assess the laptop and its contents for signs of tampering with files or any other suspicious activity.
“My analysis revealed there is a 100% certainty that Robert Hunter Biden was the only person responsible for the activity on this hard drive and all of its stored data,” said Dimitrelos. “Hunter Biden’s MacBook Pro was not hacked, and the data contained on the hard drive is authentic. Based on the data I examined, there was no manipulation of any photographs, emails, documents, or other user activities.”
To examine the laptop’s contents, Dimitrelos used a technique he created called “digital sandwiching” which cross examines “emails, documents, business records, text messages, Apple Notes, photos, geolocation data, travel records, and other information” on the hard drive to determine whether there was anyone besides Hunter Biden who could have produced the data.
A previous assessment of the hard drive commissioned by the Washington Post relied mainly on DomainKeys Identified Mail, or DKIM.
Dimitrelos explained, “DKIM verification is only a portion of authenticating email integrity. There were hundreds of unique identifiers showing Robert Hunter Biden is the only user of the laptop. There were also thousands of iPhone photographs and videos taken by RHB including personal ones, RHB identification cards, travel documents, credit cards, business and financial transactions.”
Hunter Biden is reportedly being investigated for possible money laundering and foreign lobbying violations under the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
