Rep. Marjorie Green rhetorically accuses Pete Buttigieg of attempting to enter girls’ bathrooms

Representative of Georgia, Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) implicitly accused Pete Buttigieg and his husband of trying to get inside girls’ bathrooms while speaking at Donald Trump’s “Save America” rally.

At this rally, held in Commerce, Georgia on March 26th, MTG said, “And you know what, Pete Buttigieg can take his electric vehicles and his bicycles, and he and his husband can stay out of our girls’ bathrooms.”

Pete Buttigieg, former Democratic Party Presidential candidate and current Secretary of Transportation, is a major Democratic Party figure and an openly gay man.

In the same event, MTG also mentioned that Lia Thomas should return to the men’s team and specifically called Lia a “he,” saying: “And old Lia Thomas, Lia’s going to have to remember his name is William, and he needs to go back to men’s swimming because we’re going to kick the biological men out of the women’s sports.”

It is possible in the midst of her political rhetoric, MTG conflated gay political issues with trans political issues since gays using the restrooms of their opposite sex is not really an issue.
