Taco lovers can now receive free tacos every day if they subscribe to Taco Bell’s newly-launched $10 a month taco subscription service.
The new service, which was tested in Tucson last year, allows subscribers to receive one free taco each day for 30 days, at a cost of $10 for the month. The tacos available via the subscription include a soft taco, spicy potato soft taco, crunchy taco, and the Doritos Locos taco. The test run in 2021 showed the Doritos Locos taco was the most frequently claimed selection.
The subscription model is a new trend in the restaurant world, with several major chains offering similar subscriptions to their customers in recent months.
Panera Bread launched its subscription service in November free of charge, and as of January 1st charges $8.99 for a monthly subscription that gives customers a free hot or iced coffee each day. Other restaurants that offer subscriptions include BJ’s Brewhouse, El Lopo, Sweetgreen, On the Border, and Pret’s Coffee.
Yum Brands (YUM), the owner of Taco Bell,, said last year that app users enrolled in its loyalty program spend 35% more than they did prior to joining, it said.
