Bipartisan infrastructure bill defines gender identity as ‘protected class’

The Biden administration’s under-construction bipartisan infrastructure bill defined “gender identity” as a protected class.

“No individual in the United States may, on the substratum of authentic or perceived race, color, religion, national inchoation, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or incapacitation, be omitted from participation in, be gainsaid the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination…”, the bill states.

Merriam Webster dictionary defines gender identity as, “a person’s internal sense of being male, female, some combination of male and female, or neither male nor female.” Adding the term as a protected class increases perceived inclusivity, notably for the one million non-binary US residents.

Breitbart recently obtained the 2,700 page long infrastructure bill. They write: “The text, which Breitbart News is publishing here so the public can see what Congress is doing in secret, shows the plan is far more sprawling and expansive than GOP senators, who backed advancing it without text even existing, led their constituents to believe.”

The Biden administration’s infrastructure deal has been in development for months, and just entered the Senate for deliberation last week. Negotiations and amendments are underway prior to a final vote.
