Polls suggest Kamala Harris is least popular Vice President since 1970s

Recent polls suggest Kamala Harris is the least popular Vice President since the 1970s.

A July YouGovAmerica poll suggests 49 percent of US voters have an unfavorable view of VP Harris, while 45 percent have a favorable view. Meanwhile, only 41 percent of young voters between the ages of 18 and 29 view her favorably. Top issues Harris has failed to deliver on include the southern border crisis and voting rights.

In June, a Fox News poll asked respondents if they approve of Vice President Kamala Harris, only 50 percent approve of the job she has done. “As of right now, I think she has the potential of doing more harm than good,” a Democratic strategist told the Hill. With regard to the upcoming 2022 elections, “My sense is she’ll probably raise a lot of money and maybe she’ll go to some specific districts, but they’ll have to be really strategic with her.”

In July, an investigation found Harris’ office is not a healthy environment, interviews with over 20 current and former vice presidential aides, officials, and associates described it as a “blame culture” and being “treated like sh*t.” One insider claimed, “People are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses and it’s an abusive environment. It’s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated.”

VP Harris’ low approval ratings mirror President Biden’s. Seven months into his controversial presidency, Joe Biden reached his lowest approval rating. According to a new Gallup poll, his rating fell to 50 percent in July, six points down from June.
