Biden says China thinks it will ‘own the US’ within 15 years during speech at Joint Base Langley

Biden recently made statements related to the existence and formations of democracies globally, “The more complicated the world becomes, the more difficult it is for democracies to come together and reach consensus.” He also mentioned China’s President, saying, “He firmly believes that China will own the US before the year 2035.”

Biden’s speech at Joint Base Langley was addressed to his audience of American Service members. Biden did not explain exactly what that means other than “autocracies can make quick decisions.” The setting and basis for his visit was to honor and thank military members for their Service and the final withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. But his dropping of comments on China and his experience and friendship with it’s President Xi Jinping seemed somewhat confusing and misplaced.

“I have spent more time with China’s President Xi Jinping than with any other world leader” and “24 hour meetings with just him and the interpreters.” In culmination of the speech Biden wrapped up by leaving soldiers on what sounds like a confident note “America is the only country that was founded on an idea” and “none of you get your rights from the government, you get your rights because you’re child of God”
