Pence criticizes Biden admin for trying to create a ‘false equivalency’ between Israel, Hamas

Former Vice President Mike Pence criticized the Biden administration for attempting to create a “false equivalency” between the state of Israel and the terrorist organization, Hamas.

Pence expressed his support for Israel, stating that the “Trump-Pence administration’s commitment to Israel was unrivaled.” He continued, “We witnessed four years of progress toward peace, now shattered by more than a week of unprovoked violence against the people of Israel.” Referencing Biden’s continuation of funding to the Palestinian Authority and stance on the Iran nuclear deal, Pence said, “Instead of seeking peace through strength, President Biden has offered weakness and ambivalence and, tragically, our friends in Israel are paying a terrible price.”

Earlier this month, Biden addressed the conflict between Israel and Palestine. The President said, “Israel has a right to defend itself against thousands of rockets flying into your territory,” and claimed his national security and defense staff has been in communication with the Middle East. The former VP’s remarks were released through Pence’s new organization, Advancing American Freedom (AAF). The group focuses on policy and advocacy, “AAF serves the Conservative Movement by developing innovative policy solutions, strategies, coalitions, and messaging that builds upon those accomplishments, expands freedom for all Americans, and hampers anything that would threaten America’s standing as the greatest nation on the face of the Earth.”
