New York school district implements new curriculum teaching fourth graders how to be anti-racist

The Fairport Central School District in Upstate New York has teamed up with a social justice firm to create a new type of race based curriculum which is to be taught in schools under the district’s jurisdiction. The new curriculum will be teaching fourth graders about the racist history of their community.

It will also be encouraging their students to become social justice activists. The Daily Wire managed to obtain parts of the curriculum taught to the children. An excerpt states that they will teach them to “understand, discuss, and identify examples of racism, segregation, and anti-racism.”

The young students were also shown pictures of children around their age, who were holding signs that say “None of us is free until all of us is free.” and “Black lives matter”. The kids were also told that New York has the most segregated schools in the whole country. They then were shown housing maps that depicted the segregation of housing in Monroe County, however these maps were from the 1930s.
